Canadian Forests

We walked through so many woodlands in Canada and really enjoyed this part of our holiday.  I took hundreds of photos of trees, roots and tangled branches.  Since returning home I have done a series of sketches based on my photos and recollections.  This is one of them.

Special Window

When we lived in Keelby, Lincolnshire, we had a window on the landing.  From there we looked up a country lane.  On sunny days you could see the shadows of an old pear tree on the walls.

Visits to Vejer always involve painting, sketching and taking photographs. For me this is an important part of my time there.
